It is a great look into her life and what life was like for an African American woman navigating the 70s/80s. The good news is the biography never actually drops into the name dropping place. This is an interesting biography that just slightly borders a bit of name dropping, but that is hard to avoid as she knew people like James Baldwin because of friends in her life. ![]() Then she herself becomes a famous cookbook author! ![]() ![]() She could have become the greatest porn star of all time if she had not 'outed' herself to the US authorities. A porn star may be able to fake the noises but the physicality is not. This can be seen in virtually all of her films as it is impossible to fake such physical contortions, while her soft nipples become hard and prominent and her smooth areolas have a prominent ring. As for the nonsense of her being e x p l o i t e d as a young girl, every body who acted with her both male and female claimed that the enthusiasm shown in her films was totally genuine. ![]() Her father was an alcoholic and worked in the steel industry. Traci was raised along with her three sisters. Her father, Louis, was of Ukrainian descent and her mother, Patricia, was of Irish origin. She could even dance erotically in sympathy with the music, which the vast majority of professional strippers cannot do. Traci Lords was born Nora Louise Kuzma in Steubenville, Ohio on May 7, 1968. Her breasts were toned, tear-drop shaped with soft nipples and smooth areolas, while her buttocks were as hard as a rock and her pussy was moist with fleshy inner labia. Her body was slender, toned and sinuous with long, elegant legs. Her face was finely proportioned with delicate features, clear complexion and a succulent pouting mouth. The great paradox in the conception of the design and in Sutpen's character is that the design was conceived when the young Sutpen was insulted as the result of a strict caste system yet the design itself is constructed so as to embrace that very caste system which caused Sutpen's rejection. His devotion to his design borders on a monomania which determines and controls his every action. Lovely and detailed, colorized illustrations capture the essence of the novel, and will appeal to anyone who loves the story, but will certainly entice younger readers to read this important story, without thinking of it as homework. I initially thought it was a cool idea, but, I worried that it might somehow reduce the impact of the story. One of my initial concerns was for the respect of the material, especially when we are talking about one of the most cherished books ever written. So far, I am having a blast re-reading a few classics and having that experience enhanced by graphic art or drawings, depicting the scenes in the book. I am new to the graphic novel category and am still getting my sea legs, so to speak, but I have discovered one of the best ways to acclimate myself is by reading familiar stories in the graphic novel format.
